Now retired, Joe was a financial executive with large, multinational corporations. Joe is driven to give back and help to improve the lives of others.

Joe began his career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen & Co. He then held positions in finance at EG&G (now Revvity) and then served as CFO for a global testing and services company, Intertek Testing, focused on organizational structure, policy and systems. After a brief stint in merchant banking, the last phase of his career was spent heading the Courier Publishing Group, which proved to be the answer to the question what a double major in Economics and English should do.

As a parent whose son participated in Communitas recreational activities, Joe was given the opportunity to serve as a coach in the sports program and over the past twenty years coached various sports. He currently coaches basketball in the winter and Track and Field in the spring, including competing in Special Olympics.

Outside of the boardroom, Joe also volunteers in a local foodbank and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities. He and his wife are avid travelers and are privileged to have their adult children continue to join in on the adventures.
