Emily Rose is a Northshore native. She has spent over a decade working in Human Services, with a primary focus on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities across all stages of life. Emily began her career in direct support roles and has steadily advanced into leadership. She considers this progression one of her greatest strengths, as it allows her to lead with empathy, understanding, and a hands-on approach to supporting both staff and participants. Before joining Communitas, she worked in ABA centers and held leadership roles across residential, educational, and community-based programs.
She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with the goal of becoming a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), further deepening her clinical and behavioral expertise.
Outside of work, Emily is a dedicated volunteer for organizations that provide inclusive opportunities for individuals with disabilities. One of her favorites is Miss Amazing Inc., a national self-esteem movement for girls and women with disabilities. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her retired service dog, Larena, and her quirky pet tortoise, Tortellini, who always keeps things interesting!
