With a strong foundation in both clinical and nonprofit leadership, Clare joined Communitas in July 2025 to support families in building meaningful lives for their loved ones. Clare holds a master’s degree in psychology and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Licensed Social Worker. They bring experience across direct care, clinical, and leadership roles in disability services, shaping a person-centered and values-driven approach.
Clare’s early work in residential care and community-based mental health outreach laid the groundwork for their commitment to inclusive, empowering support. Since then, they have led clinical teams, residential and vocational programs, and community-based services focused on skill-building and independence. Clare believes strong relationships are the foundation of strong programs and leads with heart, insight, and a deep respect for individual dignity.
A proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Clare is also a Midwestern transplant and lifelong musician who enjoys making music, cooking, and caring for their cats.
