Originally from Michigan, Nicole studied at Salem State University after serving in The United States Navy (Persian Gulf War Veteran; Humanitarian Service Medal). After obtaining her Bachelor Degree in Social Work (Magna Cum Laude), she began her career as a social worker in 1999.
Nicole’s career includes working as an investigator for The Department of Children and Families, Early Intervention, Community Crisis Stabilization Unit, Eliot Community Human Services and many non-profit agencies. She recognized early in her career that her passion lies in supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Nicole began working for Communitas in 2019 as the Director of the Life Choices Day Habilitation Program in Wakefield. Life Choices is an innovative Day Habilitation program that provides a broad spectrum of service models to support participants. Through a creative approach, participants are taught meaningful and essential skills for everyday living.
